What is the difference between Formal and Simple Guests in Mitzvites?

Modified on Wed, 30 Jul at 4:54 PM

We provide two RSVP modes to suit your preferences:

1. Formal Guest RSVP Mode:
  • Utilize the Formal mode when you want to send invitations to a primary guest and then assign family members, friends, and +1's to the primary guest.

  • The primary guest, for example, Joseph Walker, can individually RSVP for each assigned member:
    Joseph Walker (Primary Guest)
  • Sally Walker
  • Robert Walker
  • Sabrina Walker

  • For additional events like a Kiddush or Sunday Night Event, assign specific family members or guests for accurate tracking of RSVPs. Mitzvites will seamlessly manage RSVPs and meal options for each individual.

2. Simple Guest RSVP Mode:
  • Opt for the Simple mode if you prefer guests to enter the number of family members and friends attending.
  • Invite guests like “Jess Walker & Family,” and upon RSVP, guests can input the total number of attendees.
  • Additional Events and Meal Options are tracked for the entire family/group rather than individual members.

Important Note:
  • You cannot mix the two modes. It’s either Formal Guest RSVP Mode or Simple Guest RSVP Mode for all guests and events.

Choose the mode that best aligns with your event planning needs. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out.
